This bachelor thesis sets out to define the comparisons between the Northeast and the West parts of the USA and the subsequent impact of immigrants on the regions. Tato bakalářská práce zkoumá rozdíly v osídlení severovýchodní a západní části USA a následný vliv imigrantů na tyto regiony. Práce nejprve popisuje čtyři hlavní imigrační vlny a současné složení obyvatelstva, přičemž vychází ze sčítání lidu a jiných statistik. Poté se zaměřuje na politiku a náboženské smýšlení.
