Bakalářská práce se zabývá vývojem vězeňství v Československé republice a České republice po roce 1918. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, teoretickou část a praktickou část. Teoretická část popisuje vývoj vězeňství a jeho historii na území našeho státu a současnou podobu Českého vězeňství.
