Funkční plastiky dětských hřišť představují specifickou kapitolu v historii sochařství, na které se odráží řada aspektů a problematik doby. Mirroring many aspects and issues characteristic of their own era, the functional sculpture on playgrounds constitutes a specific category within the history of sculpture.
