Bakalářská práce se v teoretické části zabývá popisem ageismu a jeho zdroji, mýty o stáří, projevy ageismu včetně syndromu EAN a prevenci ageismu. Dále charakterizuje koncept aktivního stárnutí a politiku stárnutí České republiky, jejíž součástí jsou vnitrostátní strategické dokumenty přípravy na stárnutí. Bachelor's thesis is focused on description of ageism and its sources, myths about ageing, manifestations of ageism including EAN syndrome and prevention of ageism. Thesis is also characterizing active aging concept and Czech Republic´s policy of ageing which includes national strategic documents of preparations for ageing.
