Integration of Ukrainian pupils into teaching in the conditions of a heterogeneous class

Abstract:

Tato magisterská diplomová práce se zabývá integrací ukrajinských žáků v heterogenní třídě. Zkoumá problémy, které vznikají při setkávání žáků z různého prostředí ve výuce, zejména pokud jde o jazykové bariéry, kulturní rozdíly a rozdíly ve studijních výsledcích. Studie analyzuje různé integrační strategie a intervence, které byly zavedeny k řešení těchto problémů, včetně programů jazykové podpory, školení pro učitele a cílené akademické podpory. Zjištění naznačují, že kombinace těchto přístupů může být účinná při podpoře úspěšné integrace a zlepšování celkových vzdělávacích zkušeností všech žáků ve třídě.

Abstract:

This Master's thesis explores the integration of Ukrainian pupils in a heterogeneous classroom. It examines the challenges that arise when pupils from diverse backgrounds come together in a learning environment, particularly in terms of language barriers, cultural differences, and academic achievement gaps. The study analyzes various integration strategies and interventions that have been implemented to address these challenges, including language support programs, training for teachers, and targeted academic support. The findings suggest that a combination of these approaches can be effective in promoting successful integration and enhancing the overall learning experience for all pupils in the classroom.
