Cílem diplomové práce je zjistit, který z pěti analyzovaných obchodních řetězců v České republice je lídrem trhu z pohledu tvorby zisku a které firmy jsou jeho hlavními konkurenty, dílčím cílem pak zhodnotit jejich finanční situaci pomocí poměrových ukazatelů a určit pořadí na základě mezipodnikového srovnání.
