The communication skills of students with mild mental disabilities

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je analyzovat komunikativní schopnosti žáků s mentálním postižením v souvislosti se zkvalitněním práce pedagogů a zaměstnanců různých pracovišť, se kterými žáci přicházejí bezprostředně do kontaktu. Také zkoumá jaký způsob komunikace tito žáci upřednostňují. Cílem dotazníkového šetření, které má základ ve spolupráci s vedením daných pracovišť, studiu odborné literatury a v nově zaváděném školním vzdělávacím programu, je postihnout silné i slabé stránky mentálně postižených žáků v souvislosti s komunikativními schopnostmi a zaměřit se na zkvalitnění výuky.

Abstract:

The goal of this dissertation is to analyze the communication competency of the mental retarded pupils in the connection with the improvement of educators and employees of different places, the pupils are coming into contact with. The thesis also goes for the most preferred way of communication used by the mental retarded pupils. The aim of the survey investigation, which is based on the cooperating with the given stations, on studying of professional literature and on implementing of new educational program, is to capture the strength and weaknesses of mental retarded pupils with a look on their communications abilities, and to focus on the tuition.
