Diversity management in selected company

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce bylo analyzovat aktivity konkrétního podnikatelského subjektu související s managementem diverzity, včetně posouzení úspěšnosti naplnění cílů a implementace strategie této společnosti v oblasti diversity. V rámci základních východisek byly vymezeny principy konceptu diversity management a dále pak charakterizován zvolený podnikatelský subjekt – Česká pojišťovna, a.s. Empirická část práce se zaměřila na analýzu názorů a vnímání zaměstnanců a managementu. Na základě provedeného hodnocení je možné zaujmout závěr, že Českou pojišťovnu lze celkově považovat z hlediska implementace diverzity managementu za poměrně úspěšnou. Na identifikované kritické připomínky ze strany některých zaměstnanců lze poměrně efektivně reagovat a zlepšit proces implementace.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis was to analyse the activities of a particular firm according to its implementation of diversity management. This also includes the assessment of the achievement of objectives and implementation of the strategy of this company in the field of diversity. Principles of the concept of diversity management were defined and the selected firm was characterized – Česká pojišťovna, a.s. The empirical part of the thesis focused on the analysis of opinions and perceptions of employees and management. The results suggest that Česká pojišťovna is successfully implementing the concept of diversity management. The critical responses from employees can be effectively solved and then improve the level of implementation.
