Abstract:

Tématem disertační práce se stal fenomén posmrtné magie, která se v rámci českých zemí projevila na moravsko slezském pomezí v 17. a 18. století na panstvích Bruntál a Sovinec, Libavá a Velké Heraltice. Na základě podrobné analýzy sedmi vybraných případů přináší komplexní obraz jevu, který je zasazen do kontextu proměny společenského diskurzu i situace na trestněprávním poli. V komparaci s badatelskou diskuzí věnující se lidové religiozitě a čarodějnické perzekuci v raném novověku se zabývá spouštěcími momenty, průběhem případů, zúčastněnými aktéry a jejich intencemi, přičemž současně sleduje vliv prostředí, dobových poměrů a sociální interakce v rámci komunity na pozadí širšího kulturně-společenského rámce.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the phenomenon of posthumous magic, which can be observed in the Czech lands on the Moravian-Silesian border in the 17th and 18th centuries on the dominions Bruntál and Sovinec, Libavá and Velké Heraltice. Based on a detailed analysis of seven selected cases, it provides a comprehensive picture of the phenomenon, which is set in the context of the transformation of social discourse and the situation in the criminal law field. In comparison with scholarly discussion devoted to popular belief and witch persecution in the early modern history, deals with starting moments, course of the cases, involved actors and their intentions, while simultaneously monitors the impact of environment, historical period conditions and social interaction within the community in the wider cultural and social context.
