Abstract:
ABSTRACT Aim of this thesis is to translate four selected journalistic texts from English to Czech. Thesis also contains analysis of the texts in which their stylistic function is described. In the last section of this thesis commentary on the problems connected with translation is provided.

ABSTRAKT Cílem této práce je přeložit čtyři vybrané žurnalistické texty z angličtiny do češtiny. Práce také obsahuje analýzu textů, ve které je popsána jejich stylistická funkce. V poslední části jsou okomentovány problémy související s překladem.
