Tato práce se zabývá vyhodnocením systému nakládání s biologicky rozložitelným odpadem (BRO) na území města Brna. V rámci tohoto hodnocení byly prozkoumány demografické poměry města, produkce a způsoby nakládání s BRO, plnění požadavků příslušné legislativy a také účinnost a ekonomika nakládání s BRO.
