Family education in relation to the use of social networks of children

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se orientuje na problematiku užívání sociálních sítí dětmi. Zabývá se výchovou a zapojením rodiny do této oblasti z jejich pohledu. Zaměřuje se především na volný čas, komunikaci a výchovu k užívání sociálních sítí v kontextu rodinného prostředí. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. V teoretické části seznamuje s primárními pojmy tématu, kterými jsou sociální sítě, jejich funkce, vliv, rizika, komunikace, volný čas a výchova k užívání sítí v rodině. Poukazuje na význam výchovy a komunikace mezi rodiči a dětmi jako prevence k vytvoření možné závislosti na sociálních sítích a ohrožení dětí. Průzkumná část zjišťuje a vyhodnocuje zapojení rodiny do volného času a užívání sociálních sítí svých potomků, a to z pohledu samotných dětí. Závěr také upozorňuje na zjištěné nedostatky a přání dětí, je navržena zpětná vazba pro rodiče prostřednictvím školy.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on the issue of using social networks by children. It concerns the education and involvement of the family in this field of study from children's point of view. The main focus of thesis is on the leisure time, communication and education for use of social networks in the family environment. The thesis is divided in two parts. Theoretical part introduces key concepts of this topic such as social networks and their functions, influence and risks, communication, leisure time and education in the family. It points out the importance of children upbringing and communication among parents and their children which could prevent possible addiction problem to social networks leading to endangerment of children. The research part of the thesis evaluates involvement of the family in children's free time and use of social networks from the perspective of children themselves. Conclusion draws attention to the identified shortcomings and wishes of children. There is a feedback suggested for parents through school as well.
