Employee benefits as a factor influencing work motivation

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je analýza výše spokojenosti a míra důležitosti benefitů pro zaměstnance ve vybrané společnosti. Dále je cílem zjistit závislost fluktuace zaměstnanců na spokojenosti s poskytnutými benefity. Prvním krokem v této práci je shrnutí poznatků týkající se motivace a její důležitosti, pokračuje přiblížením nejvíce využívaných benefitů v České republice, jejich cílů a určení nové definice benefitního minima pro tento výzkum. Následující praktická část začne popisem metodiky, etnických aspektů a výzkumného vzorku anonymní organizace, která spolupracovala při tvorbě této práce za účelem získání odpovědí na interní otázky týkající se budoucí restrukturalizace benefitního systému, zvýšení motivací a vysvětlení dlouhodobě nízké fluktuace. Samotné šetření proběhlo na úrovni nižších manažerů a team leaderů v IT oddělení organizace.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the level of satisfaction and the importance of benefits for employees in a selected company. Additionally, the objective is to determine the correlation between employee turnover and satisfaction with provided benefits. The first step in this thesis is to summarize knowledge regarding motivation and its significance, followed by an overview of the most commonly used benefits in the Czech Republic, their objectives, and the establishment of a new definition of a minimum benefit for this research. The subsequent practical part begins with a description of the methodology, ethical aspects, and the research sample of an anonymous organization that collaborated in the creation of this thesis to obtain answers to internal questions related to future benefit system restructuring, increasing motivation, and explaining long-term low turnover. The actual survey was conducted among lower-level managers and team leaders in the organization's IT department.
