Evaluation of the economic development and proposal of the financial strategy of the company ZEA Rychnovsko a.s.

Abstract:

Daná bakalářská práce se zabývá vyhodnocením finančního zdraví zemědělského podniku ZEA Rychnovsko a.s. za období 2017–2021 provedením finanční analýzy. Jejím cílem je na základě výstupů finanční analýzy zhodnotit hospodaření firmy a navrhnout doporučení pro zlepšení její současné ekonomické situace. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na vymezení pojmu finanční analýzy, definování její podstaty a jejích základních nástrojů a metod. Praktická část se věnuje aplikaci vybraných metod a nástrojů na základě dat z účetních závěrek společnosti za období 2017–2021. V rámci poměrové analýzy jsou výsledky podniku porovnávány s konkurencí a odvětvím. V závěru práce jsou shrnuty výstupy provedené finanční analýzy, vymezeny hlavní silné a slabé stránky podniku a také doporučeny návrhy pro odstranění nedostatků a vylepšení finančního zdraví ZEA Rychnovsko a.s.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with the evaluation of the financial health of the agricultural company ZEA Rychnovsko a.s. for the period 2017–2021 by conducting a financial analysis. Its goal is to evaluate the company's economic activity based on the results of the financial analysis and to propose recommendations for improving its current economic situation. The theoretical part focuses on defining the concept of financial analysis, identifying its essence, basic tools and methods. The practical part is devoted to the application of selected methods and tools based on the data from the company's financial statements for the period 2017–2021. As part of the ratio analysis, the company's results are compared with the competitor and the industry. At the end of the thesis, the results of the performed financial analysis are summarized, the main strengths and weaknesses of the company are determined, as well as recommended proposals for eliminating shortcomings and improving the financial health of ZEA Rychnovsko a.s.
