Comparative Study of Cranial Morphology in Humans and Primates by using Geometric Morphometrics, 2D landmark-based methods
Abstract:
Tato práce se zabývá, jak už značně vystihuje její název,rozdíly ve tvaru lebek výšších primátů. Tyto rozdíly jsou analyzovány pomocí geometrické morfometie, 2D metod význačných bodů. Cílem je zjistit jaký vliv má agonostické intrasexuální kompetiční chování vliv na tvar lebky vyšších primátů.
Abstract:
This thesis deals with, as its title shows, differences in cranial shape within the frame of suborder Anthropoidea.These differences are examined by the help of metods Geometric Morphometrics, 2D landmark-based methods. The aim is to analyse influence of sexual agonistic behaviour on cranial shape of Anthropoidae.
