Awareness of schizophrenia among public

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá schizofrenií, která je řazena mezi závažná psychotická onemocnění. Teoretická část práce se bude zabývat pojmem schizofrenie, základním dělením schizofrenie, diagnostikou a léčbou. V závěru teoretické části bude zmíněna stigmatizace nemocných osob. Cílem diplomové práce je zjistit, jaké znalosti má veřejnost o schizofrenii. Tyto informace budou získány metodou kvantitativního výzkumu - dotazníkem umístěným na internet. Výsledky výzkumného šetření budou podrobně popsány a zpracovány v empirické části diplomové práce.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with schizophrenia which is classified as a severe psychotic illness. The theoretical part will deal with the term of schizophrenia, basic sorting of schizophrenia, diagnosis and treatment. At the end of the theoreticla part, stigmatization of the ill people will be mentioned. The aim of the thesis is to find out what knowledge of schizophrenia the public has. This information will be gathered by the method of quantitative research – the Interent questionnaire. The results of the reserach will be described in detail and processed in the empirical part of the thesis.
