Abstract:

Bakalářská práce „Digital divide: srovnání situace seniorů z domácího prostředí a z pobytových zařízení “ má teoreticko-výzkumný charakter. Zabývá se přístupem seniorů k informačně komunikačním technologiím, jejich potřebami a možnostmi a zkoumá, zda na přístup seniorů k ICT má vliv prostředí, v němž žijí, a forma, jakou je o ně pečováno. Praktická část představuje kvantitativní výzkum, který v tomto ohledu srovnává dvě skupiny - seniory žijící v domácím prostředí a seniory žijící v pobytových zařízeních.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis „Digital divide: comparison between the situation of the senior citizens living in their home environment and of those living in homes for the elderly“ has the theoretical and research part. It deals with the seniors‘ access to information and communication technology, their needs and their possibilities and it examines whether their environment and the care they receive influence their access to ICT. The research part represents a quantitative research which compares two groups – seniors living i their home environment and those living in homes for the elderly.
