Práce se zabývá dvěma provázanými hlavními tématy. Popisuje příčiny islandského finančního kolapsu a vnitropolitické a hospodářské konsekvence krize, která zasáhla Island v roce 2008. Následně práce analyzuje vliv krize na změnu postojů islandských politických stran vůči evropské integraci. This thesis deals with two closely related main topics. It describes the causes of Icelandic financial collapse and domestic and economic consequences of the crisis which stroke Iceland in 2008.
