Health care and social workers activities in the social services for the mentally affected

Abstract:

Ve své bakalářské práci se věnuji péči o jedince s mentálním postižením v zařízení ústavu sociální péče. Pozornost jsem zaměřila na činnost a spolupráci zdravotnických pracovníků, sociálních pracovníků a pracovníků v sociálních službách. Práce je rozdělena do šesti částí. V první části je uvedeno vymezení pojmu mentální retardace, jeho klasifikace, etiologie a epidemiologie. Druhá část se věnuje historii péče o mentálně postižené a vzniku ústavních zařízení. Třetí část se zabývá službami, které zajišťuje mentálně postiženému jedinci současná právní úprava. Ve čtvrté části je uveden přístup pracovníků k některým standardům kvality a nezbytnost týmové práce s mentálně postiženým člověkem. V další části jsou uvedeny jednotlivé pracovní činnosti, které v ústavu sociální péče vykonávají sociální pracovnice, zdravotnický personál a pracovníci v sociálních službách. Rozdílům v náplni v práci přímého obslužného personálu a zdravotníků. Poslední část je praktická. Zde je věnována pozornost reakcím zaměstnanců a uživatelů na změny, kterou přinesl zákon o sociálních službách v Ústavu sociální péče pro mládež v Jeseníku.

Abstract:

This disertation is focused on taking care of the person with mental disability, that resides in the social care institute. It is mainly zamereno on the cooperation of the health care workers, social care workers workers and workers in the social services. The disertation is divided into six parts. The first part introduces the mental disability classification, tiology and epidemiology. Second part is about history of taking care of mental disabled and the origins of the institutes. Third is about the services given to the disabled person by temporary legal regulations in the Czech Republic. Next part handles workers attitued to some quality standards and cooperation as essential part of work with mentally disabled. In the next part there are some particular tasks that are done by social workers, health care workers and social services workers. The differences between the tasks done by directly serving workers and health care workers. Tha last part is a practical, it includes real ractions of workers facing the changes in the legal regulations in the social care services, that are connected with their work, at the Social care institute for young people of the town Jesenik.
