Information and Communication Technologies in the Education of Pupils with Special Educational Needs

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývala problematikou využívání informačních a komunikačních technologií při vzdělávání žáků se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami. Cílem bylo charakterizovat využívání informačních a komunikačních technologií ve výchově a vzdělávání žáků se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami a zjistit, jaké jsou rozdíly ve využívání informačních a komunikačních technologií na základních školách speciálních a základních školách praktických a při výchově a vzdělávání integrovaných žáků se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami na základních školách běžného typu. Práci tvořily dvě stěžejní části. Část teoretická, ve které byly za pomoci odborných zdrojů předloženy informace týkající se problematiky žáků se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami a vzdělávání těchto žáků. Další část je zaměřena na žáky s různými druhy postižení a na to, jaké druhy informačních a komunikačních technologií (speciální hardware a speciální software), se využívají při edukaci těchto žáků. Cíl diplomové práce byl dále naplněn prostřednictvím výzkumu, který je popsán v empirické části diplomové práce, která mimo jiné přináší vyhodnocení jednotlivých položek dotazníku. Výsledky jsou následně představeny prostřednictvím tabulek a grafů. Shrnutí celé diplomové práce je v závěru, na nějž navazují navrhovaná opatření, součástí práce je i seznam použitých zdrojů a přílohy. Smyslem diplomové práce bylo, zjistit, na co by se měla zaměřit podpora využívání prostředků informačních a komunikačních technologií při edukaci žáků se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami na základních školách, zda a jakým způsobem využívají učitelé prostředky informačních a komunikačních technologií při výchově a vzdělávání žáků se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami a jestli jsou rozdíly při jejich využívání na různých typech škol.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis dealt with the issue of using information and communication technologies in the education of pupils with special educational needs. The aim was to characterize of using information and communication technologies in the education of pupils with special educational needs and determine what are the differences in of using information and communication technologies in primary schools, special schools and primary schools with a practical education of integrated pupils with special educational needs in primary mainstream schools. The work was made up of two main parts. The theoretical part in which, with the help of expert resources, were presented information relating to the issue of pupils with special educational needs and education of these students. The next part focuses on pupils with various disabilities and what kinds of information and communication technologies (special hardware and special software), is used in the education of these pupils. The aim of the thesis was accomplished by dint of research, which inter alia is described in the practical part of thesis. Here we can also find the evaluation of each item of the questionnaire. The results are presented in the form of tables and graphs. The summary of the diploma thesis is in the end, followed by suggested measures. The list of sources and the appendices are salso parts of the thesis.The purpose of the thesis was to find out what should be supported of using information and communication technologies in the education of pupils with special educational needs and whether and how teachers use resources of information and communication technologies in the education of pupils with special educational needs and whether there are differences of using them in various types of schools.
