Music Player with Psychoactive Components

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tvorbou webové aplikace nabízející přehrávání hudby společně s psychoaktivní složkou, která je výhradně reprezentována binaurálními rytmy. Snahou tohoto hudebního přehrávače je spojení hudby a binaurálních rytmů bez narušení hudební kvality. Cílem teoretické části je seznámení se zvukem, lidským sluchem, digitálním zpracováním zvuku, frekvenční analýzou, hudbou a binaurálními rytmy. Následuje praktická část věnující se hudebnímu přehrávači. Je popsán proces návrhu, implementace a testování aplikace. K~ověření funkčnosti jsou realizovány testovací scénáře a uživatelské testy. V~závěru práce se vyskytuje popis vhodných rozšíření.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with the creation of a web application offering music playback together with a psychoactive component, which is exclusively represented by binaural beats. The aim of this music player is to combine music and binaural beats without compromising the musical quality. The intent of the theoretical part is to introduce the topics of sound, human hearing, digital sound processing, frequency analysis, music and binaural beats. This is followed by a practical part dedicated to the music player. There is described the process of designing, implementing and testing the aplication. Test scenarios and user tests were implemented to verify the functionality of the aplication. At the end of the thesis there is a description of suitable extensions.
