Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá uměním v kultuře Neslyšících. Je rozdělena do tří kapitol, z nichž první dvě jsou teoretické a třetí praktická. Teoretická část je zaměřená na Neslyšící, jakožto kulturní menšinu. Zaměřuje se na jejich uměleckou tvorbu v různých oblastech, rovněž pojednává o uměleckém tlumočení. Popisuje spolky a události orientované na neslyšící umělce. Praktickou část tvoří analýza rozhovorů z pořadu Televizní klub neslyšících (TKN) s hlavním cílem potvrdit, zda může umění Neslyšících sloužit jako možnost mezikulturní komunikace. Dále zjišťuje jakým způsobem je umění Neslyšících předáváno a zda při umělecké tvorbě dochází ke spolupráci sluchově postižených a slyšících. Výzkum potvrzuje, že způsob jakým je umění Neslyšících předáváno, je přístupný jak slyšícím, tak sluchově postiženým. Ukazuje, že tvorba Neslyšících ve spojení s umělci většinové populace není nezbytná, ovšem je přínosná pro obě strany. Dochází ke spolupráci slyšících a neslyšících umělců, často i přes nedokonalou znalost komunikačního sytému druhé osoby. Lze tak hovořit o možnosti komunikace právě skrze umění.

Abstract:

This bachelor’s thesis deals with the art in the Deaf culture. Thesis comprises of three chapters, with the first and the second one theoretical and the third one practical. Theoretical part is focused on Deaf people as a cultural minority. It describes the artwork of the Deaf in different areas, artistic interpretation and clubs and events including Deaf artists. The practical part consists of an analysis of interviews from the television show “Televizní klub neslyšících (TKN)” (The deaf television club) with the aim of confirming that the Deaf art can serve as a form of intercultural communication. Further on the thesis explores the ways in which the Deaf art is passed on and the possibilities of cooperation between the hearing impaired and the hearing during the process of artistic creation. The research confirms that the way in which the Deaf art is conveyed is accessible both to hearing impaired and the hearing. The research shows that the connection between the artwork of the Deaf and majority artists isn’t necessary, but benefits both sides. Cooperation between deaf and hearing artists occurs despite the imperfect understanding of the communication system of the other person. Therefore, it is possible to assume the existence of communication through art.
