Problematika řešená v této práci se zaobírá vhodným zakomponováním novostavby do historické zástavby. Nedílnou součástí pochopení této problematiky je znalost samotných počátků osidlování Čech, Moravy a Slezska včetně postupného vývoje obydlí našich předků, zakládání středověkých vesnic, měst, jejich typů a konstrukcí, ze kterých byly budovány.
