Education of the child in the period defiance

Abstract:

Teoretická část bakalářské práce obsahuje pět kapitol: Období vzdoru, Dítě a jeho osobnost, Základní potřeby dítěte, Výchova - postoje a styly, autorita a vzor a kapitolu Vzdělávání a výchova. V první kapitole je popsána charakteristika období vzdoru, vzdor z pohledu E. H. Eriksona a Z. Matějčka. Druhá kapitola se zabývá emočním vývojem a temperamentem dítěte. Třetí kapitola se věnuje jednotlivým potřebám dítěte. Čtvrtá kapitola charakterizuje jednotlivé postoje a styly ve výchově, popsána je zde i důležitost autority a správného vzoru ve výchově. Pátá kapitola se zaměřuje na vzdělávání v MŠ, na autoritu učitelky MŠ, na stanovování pravidel a hranic a na spolupráci MŠ s rodinou dítěte. Praktická část se zabývá průzkumným šetřením, jehož předmětem je zjistit, jak reagují učitelky vybrané MŠ na typické věty dítěte v období vzdoru - "Ne, já nechci" nebo "Ne, já nebudu" a jaká je následná reakce dítěte. Výsledky průzkumného šetření ukazují, že učitelky vybrané MŠ reagovaly během jednoho týdne na typické věty dítěte v období vzdoru desíti strategiemi. Děti u obou učitelek nejlépe reagovaly na strategii, kdy učitelky nabízely pomoc, a na motivaci. Nejhůře pak děti u obou učitelek reagovaly na napomínání a u učitelky č. 1 ještě na křičení. Mezi nejčastější používané strategie učitelek nepatřily ty, na něž děti reagovaly nejlépe.

Abstract:

The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis contains five chapters: The period of defiance, Child and his personality, Basic needs of a child, Child-rearing - attitudes and methods, authority and example and the chapter of Education and child-rearing. In the first chapter characterization of the period of defiance will be introduced, defiance from the perspective of E. H. Erikson and Z. Matějčka. The second chapter is concerned with emotional evolvement and child´s disposition. The third chapter deals with individual needs of a child. The fourth chapter focuses on child´s particular attitudes and methods in child-rearing as well as the importance of establishing authority and right example in child-rearing. The fifth chapter focuses on education in kindergartens, teacher authority, designing regulations and boundaries and cooperation of the kindergarten with the family of a child. The partical part of the thesis is concerned with recon survey, whose aim is to detrmine reactions of the teachers from particular kindergartens to the typical children sentences when in defiance period, e.g. "No, I don´t want to" or "No, I won´t" and what is the subsequent reaction of the child. Results of the recon survey show that teachers working at the particular kindergartens reacted to the typical defiant sentences via 10 strategies. Children reacted positively to the strategy of help and motivation, whereas the strategy of admonishing wasn´t accepted so well as well as the strategy of the teacher no. 1, the strategy of screaming. Nevertheless the most frequent strategies didn´t include ones, to which children reacted favorably.
