Práce se zabývá procesem finální montáže židlí ve společnosti TON, a.s. První část obsahuje literární rešerši zabývající se štíhlou výrobou, plýtváním, jeho identifikací a následnou eliminací, ale také historickými souvislostmi vzniku PI. Work is focused on chairs final assembly process in TON, a.s. company. The very first part approximates theoretical basics of lean production, wasting identification and elimination, but also history of industrial engineering.
