Bank regulativ and supervision in Czech Republic

Abstract:

Předmětem této bakalářské práce je analýza dopadu nové Basel II na řízení rizik v bankovním sektoru ČR. První část práce je zaměřena na vymezení bankovního sektoru ČR, rizik a způsobu jejich řízení, regulace a dohledu bank. V hlavní části práce je zpracován výsledek zátěžového testu ČNB v souvislosti s finanční krizí. Na příkladu České spořitelny jsou pak analyzovány způsoby řízení rizik podle nové direktivy Basel II a kapitálová přiměřenost před a po zavedení Basel II.

Abstract:

The object of this bachelor work is to analyze the reset of the New Basel II on risks regulation in the banking segment in the Czech Republic. The first part of this work is focused on determination of banking segment, bank regulation and methods of risks regulation. In the principal part of this work you will find the result of the working exercise test of Czech National Bank ("ČNB") in time of the financial crisis. I used "Česká spořitelna" as an example for my analysis of methods for the risks regulation according to the New Basel II. In the second part I analysed the evolution of capital adequacy before and after the implementation of Basel II.
