Optimisation of train operation during closure activities on the line through Vysočina region

Abstract:

Práce se věnuje provozu drážní dopravy při omezeních, která vznikají důsledkem výlukových prací na infrastruktuře. Analýza je provedena na dvoukolejné trati Brno - Havlíčkův Brod - Kolín, která prochází Vysočinou. Některé stanice a mezistaniční úseky této tratě doposud neprošly modernizací a jejich parametry neodpovídají současným požadavkům moderní železnice. Téma diplomové práce navazuje na předchozí bakalářskou práci. Analýza práce se skládá ze současné infrastruktury trati a současného provozu vlaků osobní a nákladní dopravy. Na základě tohoto zkoumání jsou identifikována kritická místa. Cílem práce je optimalizovat jízdní řád takovým způsobem, aby byly minimalizovány či eliminovány negativní dopady na dopravce a cestující a zhodnotit vlivy výlukové činnosti na bezpečnost, včasnost a pravidelnost železniční dopravy.

Abstract:

The work focuses on the operation of rail transport during restrictions resulting from closure works on the infrastructure. The analysis is carried out on the double-track line Brno - Havlíčkův Brod - Kolín, which passes through Vysočina region. Some stations and line tracks of this railway line have not yet been modernised and their parameters do not get together with the current requirements of modern railways. The topic of the diploma thesis is related to the previous bachelor thesis. The analysis of the thesis consists of the current infrastructure of the line and the current operation of passenger and freight trains. Based on this examination, critical points are identified. The aim of the thesis is to optimize the timetable in such a way that negative impacts on carriers and passengers are minimized or eliminated and to evaluate the effects of the closure activity on the safety, timeliness, and regularity of the railway services.
