The Extra Four Weels - Documentary film

Abstract:

Jedná se o praktickou bakalářskou práci, jejíž součástí je i teoretický rozbor procesu tvorby dokumentárního filmu. Praktický výstup ve formě audiovizuálního díla je doplněn akademickým textem. Tématem práce je zachycení aktivního života vozíčkářů v dokumentárním filmu. Teoretická a metodologická část práce se opírá o teorii modelu a modu Billa Nicholse a je vhodně kombinována s teorií dalších významných autorů zabývajících se dokumentární tvorbou. Dominantním výstupem této práce je audiovizuální dílo, avšak psaný text je neméně důležitou součástí této bakalářské práce.

Abstract:

This is a practical bachelor thesis, including theoretical analysis of the documentary film. Practical output of the audiovisual work is supplemented by academic text. The topic of the work is to capture in the documentary film the active life of people on the wheelchair. The theoretical and methodological part is based on model and mode theory of Bill Nichols, and is suitably combined with the theory of other important authors dealing with documentary filmmaking. The major outcome of this work is an audiovisual work, but the written text is equally important part of this thesis.
