Employer Branding: Responsible Behaviour towards Human Resources in Corporate Reports

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá employer brandingem a s tím souvisejícím udržitelným a odpovědným chováním k lidským zdrojům. Cílem je zjistit aktuální stav tohoto chování prostřednictvím nefinančních reportů, a také transparentního reportování obecně. Po literární rešerši následuje vyhodnocení na základě analyzování a komparování náhodně zvolených reportů z žebříčku Czech Top 100 za rok 2018 – reporty společnosti ČEZ, Česká pošta a Miele. Výsledky vykazují vzrůstající trend udržitelného reportování a employer brandingu v čase a u analyzovaných firem tendenci transparentně informovat o sociální oblasti se zaměřením na lidské zdroje. Drobné nedostatky jsou též kriticky zhodnoceny. V závěru je poukázáno na důležitost employer brandingu a chování firem k lidským zdrojům, zároveň jsou navržena doporučení pro zlepšení reportování.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with employer branding which is related to sustainable and responsible behavior towards human resources. The aim is to find out the current state of this behavior through non-financial reports as well as transparent disclosure in general. The literature review in the theoretical section is followed, in the practical section of the paper, by an evaluation based on the analysis and comparison of randomly selected reports (ČEZ, Czech Post and Miele) from the Czech Top 100 ranking for 2018. The results show a growing trend of sustainable reporting and employer branding over the course of time. In the analyzed companies, it also points towards a tendency to transparently inform about the social area with a focus on human resources. Minor deficiencies are also critically assessed. In the end, the importance of employer branding and the behavior of companies towards human resources is pointed out. Recommendations for improving reporting by companies are made.
