Corporate social responsibility of mobile operators on CZ market from the customer`s point of view

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou společenské odpovědnosti mobilních operátorů na trhu v České republice. Cílem diplomové práce je zanalyzovat jednotlivé aktivity těchto firem v oblasti CSR a zjistit, jak tuto problematiku vnímají zákazníci. Práce je rozdělena do 5 částí. V úvodu je blíže představena historie a čemu se bude práce dále věnovat. Teoretická část definuje koncept CSR, teorii stakeholderů, argumenty pro a proti přijetí společenské odpovědnosti. Dále se teoretická část věnuje standardům v oblasti společenské odpovědnosti. Metodologie čtenáře informuje, jak bylo postupováno v praktické části. Praktická část se nejprve věnuje jednotlivým mobilním operátorům, kdy jsou společnosti představeny a zároveň jsou představeny jejich CSR aktivity. U každého z operátorů je SWOT analýza týkající se CSR. Následně jsou srovnány aktivity jednotlivých mobilních operátorů. Další část je věnována dotazníkovému šetření mezi zákazníky. V závěru jsou shrnuty poznatky z celé diplomové práce.

Abstract:

This master‘s thesis deals with issues of social responsibility of mobile operators on the Czech market. The aim of the diploma thesis is to analyze the activities of these companies in the area of CSR and to find out how the customers perceive this problem. The work is divided into 5 parts. In the introduction, the history and summary of thesis are presented. The theoretical part defines the concept of CSR, stakeholder theory, arguments for and against corporate social responsibility. The theoretical part deals with standards in the field of social responsibility. The methodology informs how practical part was done. The practical part introduces mobile operators and their CSR activities. For each operator, the SWOT analysis is related, the activities of individual mobile operators are compared. The next part is dedicated to the questionnaire survey among customers. In conclusion, the findings from the whole diploma thesis are summarized.
