Abstract:

V diplomové práci se zajímám o projektovou metodu a o to, jakou zkušenost s projektovou metodou mají učitelé prvního a druhého stupně ZŠ. Toto téma je podle mě více než aktuální, protože je třeba žáky ve školním prostředí den ode dne více motivovat a hledat nové metody a obohacující prostředky, aby žáky pobyt ve škole nenudil a odnesli si z ní vědomosti a dovednosti. Dnešní doba volá po moderních, alternativních přístupech, které jsou zábavné nejen pro žáky, ale také pro vyučující. Cílem práce bylo zjistit, zda se zájem o projektovou metodu zvyšuje, či klesá. Dalším cílem bylo zjistit, jak na projektovou výuku nahlíží učitelé 1. a 2. stupně ZŠ. Zda se běžně setkávají s projektovou výukou, jestli je to běžná metoda na jejich škole a zda projektovou metodu používají ve svých hodinách. Zda učitelé považují projektovou výuku za přínosnou a zda mají zájem o další vzdělávání se v projektové metodě. Pro zjištění cílů diplomové práce jsem použila smíšené výzkumné metody, a to dotazníkové šetření a strukturovaný rozhovor. V menší kvantitě jsem použila také pozorování. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a empirickou část. V teoretické části můžeme najít historii projektové metody, pojmy, které se k projektové metodě váží a metody, kterých projektová výuka využívá. V empirické části můžeme vidět výzkum, jenž se zabývá právě zkušenostmi učitelů s projektovou metodou. Diplomová práce mi přinesla zjištění, že zájem o projektovou metodu stoupá a je stále aktuální, učitelé vědí, co je základem projektové metody a v čem je její zařazení do výuky nejvíce přínosné. Díky práci jsem došla k závěru, že projektová metoda patří k oblíbeným metodám učitelů a dle srovnání výsledků jsem zjistila, že zájem o projektovou metodu stále stoupá. Zjistila jsem, že největší povědomí o projektové metodě získávají učitelé na vysokých a středních pedagogických školách, takže si troufám říct, že s přibývajícím počtem nově vystudovaných učitelů bude oblíbenost této metody stoupat dále.

Abstract:

In the diploma thesis I am interested in the project method and the experience which teachers of the first and second grade of elementary school have. According to me, this topic is more than up to date, because it is necessary to motivate pupils in the school environment more and more from day to day to look for new methods and enriching means to keep pupils interested and to gain new knowledge and skills. Nowadays it calls for modern, alternative approaches that are entertaining not only for pupils but also for teachers. The aim of the thesis was to find out if the interest in the project method increases or decreases. Another aim was to find out how the teachers of first and second grade feel about the method. Whether they normally use project teaching, whether it is a common method at their school, and whether they use the project method in their classes. If teachers consider the project teaching to be helpful and if they are interested in further education in this field. To assess the objectives of the thesis, I used mixed method research methods, namely a questionnaire survey and a structured interview. In smaller quantities I also used observations. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and empirical part. In the theoretical part we can find the history of the project method, the concepts that are related to the method and the methods used by the project. In the empirical part we can see the research which deals with the experience teachers have with the method. The diploma thesis showed that the interest in the project method is increasing and is still relevant. Teachers know what the ground of project method is and how its use helps in education process. Thanks to my work I came to the conclusion that the project method belongs to the favourite methods of teachers and according to the comparison of the results I have found out that the interest in the method is still increasing. I found out that awareness of project method is gained at universities and secondary pedagogical schools so I can state that with the increasing number of newly graduated teachers this method will gain even more popularity.
