Potenciál elektrických kamionů ve vybraných zemích EU

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá tržním potenciálem elektrických vozidel, zejména však kamionů a dodávek určených pro komerční účely a firemní vozový park. Práce je zaměřena na evropský trh, zejména pak na Českou republiku a Německo.Za účelem lepšího porozumění motivačních faktorů stojících za nákupy elektrických vozů, byla první část této práce věnována problematice společenské odpovědnosti firem a konceptu chytrých měst – smart cities. Pro lepší posouzení potenciálu na trhu s elektrickými kamiony (electric trucks), bylo napřed přistoupeno k obzervaci trhu s elektromobily, z důvodu nedostatku dat o reálných elektrických kamionech, neboť tato technologie je ještě velmi čersvá a neexistuje o ní mnoho dat. Elektrické vozy a elektrické kamiony byly poté zkoumány zejména na českém a německém území za účelem porovnání těchto dvou trhů a posouzení, která země skýtá větší potenciál pro budoucí rozvoj elektromobility, se závěrem, že větší potenciál pro elektrické kamiony můžeme najít na německém trhu. K tomuto závěru jsme dospěli i s pomocí případové studie porovnávající přístup k elektromobilitě v rámci mezinárodní ligistické společnosti DHL, která nám pomohla se podívat na problematiku z praktického hlediska. Elektrické kamiony v sobě skýtají velký potenciál, pro některé trhy a segmenty bude tento potenciál využitelný o něco dříve než pro jiné, nicméně v současné době a při současném stavu technologie je nasazení elektrických kamionů ekonomicky nevýhodné.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis was written with an intention to assess a potential of electric trucks (electric vehicles above 3.5 ton of weight) in Europe. As most of the commercial vehicles are bought by companies, we have reviewed theories behind Corporate Social Responsibility as one of the possible drivers for purchase of electric vehicles. As electric trucks are a state-of-art technology and there are not many electric trucks on the road, we have used electric vehicles as a potent source of information for our assessment. We have reviewed the main challenges as well as opportunities that electric vehicles bring, including the price tipping point when electric vehicles shall be at par with conventional cars when considering unsubsidized price at purchase. We have reviewed main driving and hindering factors of the electric truck development as well as markets and sectors where they might disrupt diesel hegemony at the soonest. The last part of the thesis was dedicated to the case study where we have compared the conditions for development of electric trucks in the Czech Republic and Germany. We utilized DHL company as a case study subject in order to see the differences in approach in the Czech Republic and Germany. After using all the information accrued across the chapters, the goal of this thesis was addressed - the assessment of the potential of electric trucks in the Czech Republic and Germany; with the conclusion that electric trucks are a very potent technology; however, not at the time being. Regarding the country comparison, we have found that Germany has significantly better starting position for the development of the electric trucks.
