The theme of death in the children's literature and its didactics potential within the lessons of ČJL at elementary schools.

Abstract:

Teoretická část diplomové práce si klade za cíl vymezit konstruktivistickou a heuristickou výuku. Praktická část popisuje didaktický potenciál vybraných děl - Most do země Terabithia a Volání netvora: příběh života. Práce si klade za cíl vytvořit konstruktivisticky laděné aktivity, které mají seznámit žáky s tematikou smrti a motivovat je k práci s textem a četbě jako celku. Aktivity byly zrealizovány v hodinách literární výchovy na základní škole. Aktivity byly zakončeny reflexemi, které jsou také součástí praktické části práce.

Abstract:

The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the topic of constructivist and heuristic approach in teaching and learning. The main focus of the practical part is to define the didactic potential of chosen books - Bridge to Terabithia and A Monster Calls. The main goal of the thesis is to create activities based on constructivist teaching, to introduce the topic of death in children literature through these activities and to emphasise students´ motivation for reading and text-based work in literature lessons. The practical part of this diploma thesis also provides reflective papers of created activities.
