Abstract:
The thesis aims to explore the self-directed language learning approach (SDLL) in EFL lessons to aid bilingual pupils in developing their writing skills at lower-secondary level. The theoretical part defines bilingualism and possible approaches to teaching English to bilingual pupils attending EFL lessons.
