T: Female gaze in photography in the age of social media
Abstract:
Předmětem této teoretické práce jsou úvahy o ženském pohledu (female gaze) ve fotografii mladých fotografek narozených v éře internetu. V této bakalářské práci analyzuji, co je female gaze, studuji témata, která se v nich vyskytují, a také vztahy mezi fotografickým průmyslem a ženami, jakož i kulturní význam ženské fotografie.
Abstract:
The aim of this theoretical thesis is to reflect on the female gaze in the photography by young female photographers born in the age of the Internet. In this bachelor’s thesis, I analyse the meaning of female gaze, the subjects present within it, the way the photographic industry looks like in relation to women as well as the cultural significance of female photography.
