Nosnou témou diplomovej práce je postavenie súdneho exekútora v dnešnom právnom systéme, jeho úlohy a funkcie. Prácu je členená do siedmych častí, úvodu a záveru. Úvodné kapitoly som sú venované problematike postavenia súdneho exekútora českom právnom systéme, ktorý sa vyznačuje „dvojkoľajnosťou“ pri vymáhaní pohľadávok oprávnenými.
