Ennio Morricone the composer of film music and his place among the knowledge and stances of the student of Music education study field

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou filmové hudby a osobností filmového skladatele Ennia Morriconeho. Teoretická část se věnuje problematice filmové hudby a osobnosti skladatele Ennia Morriconeho. Poznatky zjištěné v teoretické části práce jsou uplatňovány dále v praktické části, kde se objasňuje míru znalostí a postojů o filmové hudbě, osobnosti a hudbě Ennia Morriconeho u oborových studentů hudební výchovy Pedagogické fakulty Ostravské univerzity. K tomuto zjištění využívá metody znalostně preferenčního dotazníku, znalostního testu o filmové hudbě a metody sémantického diferenciálu. Práce prokázala, že úroveň znalostí o filmové hudbě je přímou úměrou k zájmu o hudbu a film. Postoje oborových studentů jsou rovněž závislé na zálibě v hudbě a filmu. Text předkládané práce prokázal znalost filmové hudby Ennia Morriconeho nikoliv však znalost jeho jako osobnosti samotné.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis gives a comprehensive account of film music and the personality of film music composer Ennio Morricone. The theoretical part deals with the theme of film music and the personality of film music composer Ennio Morricone. The findings from the theoretical part of the thesis are then implemented in the practical part, in which the extent of knowledge and a range of stances on film music, the personality and music of Ennio Morricone of the students of Musical Education study field are clarified. The methods of a knowledge attitude and practice questionnaire, a general knowledge test into film music and a semantic differential are used to carry out the findings. The thesis proves that the level of knowledge of film music is in direct proportion to the level of interests in music and film.The study field students´ stances depend on their interests in music and film as well. The findings of the thesis show their familiarity with Ennio Morricone´s film music in contrast to their unfamiliarity with the personality of his own.
