Mannerism: iterpretation, aplikability of an idea

Abstract:

Anotace Hlavním úkolem bakalářské diplomové práce s názvem Manýrismus: výklad, aplikabilita pojmu je explikace historického pojmu manýrismu a udání identifikačních kritérií pojmu. Na začátku práce je vysvětlen význam termínu, poté se výklad soustředí na manýrismus jako umělecký směr mezi renesancí a barokem. Čtenář se dočte o časovém vymezení manýrismu, jeho charakteristických rysech a stručně i o filozofii doby. Následující strany jsou členěny na kapitoly, které jsou nazvány jmény pěti uměleckých osobností manýrismu 16. století a jednoho předchůdce, jehož tvorba sice oficiálně spadá do renesance, ale v mnohém manýristy předčí. Jsou to čtyři Italové: univerzální umělec Leonardo da Vinci, malíř zvaný Parmigianino, „kubista“ manýrismu Luca Cambiaso a Giuseppe Arcimboldo, jenž reprezentoval italské umění na pražském dvoře císaře Rudolfa II.; dále Holanďan Pieter Brueghel starší a Domenico Theotocopuli neboli El Greco, narozený v Řecku. Prostřednictvím jejich (z naprosté většiny malířských) děl jsou čtenáři přiblíženy hlavní znaky, které jsou pro manýrismus typické. Výtvarná díla ze 16. století jsou v práci konfrontována s výtvory vzniklými v jiném historickém období, jenž nesou podobné znaky. Jedná se převážně o obrazy z 20. století. V textu jsou řešeny úvahy, zda jsou některé novodobé styly a hnutí opravdu vynálezem minulého století.

Abstract:

Anotation Main assignment of my bachelor dissertation called Mannerism: interpretation, aplicability of idea is an explication of a historical idea mannerism and indication of identificative criteries of the idea. At the beginning of the work the meaning of the therm is explained, then the interpretation is concentrated on the mannerism as an artistic style placed between renessance and barroco. A reader can read about timing of mannerism, its charasterictics and briefly also about philosophy of this period. The following pages are divided into the chaptures which are called by the names of five mannerism artistical personalities from XVI.th century and by the name of the one predecessor, whose creation belongs to the renessance but in some views overtops later mannerists. These are four Italians: Leonardo da Vinci, an universal artist, Parmigianino, the „cubist“ of mannerism Luca Cambiaso and Giuseppe Arcimboldo representated an italian art at the prague yard of a imperator Rudolf The Second; the futher were Dutch Peter Brueghet the older and Domenico Theotocopuli called El Greco. Viev their fine arts works basic typical features of mannerism works are introduced to a reader. Fine arts works of XVI.th century and similar works of other period are compared. Some considerations as to the nature of inventuring of XX.th century are spoken in the text.
