Approaches to tourism start-up projects realisation in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá českým prostředím start-upových projektů orientovaných na cestovní ruch a shrnuje možnosti, které zakladatelé start-upů mají. Teoretická část práce představuje problematiku start-up projektů a rozdíly ve vedení start-up společnosti oproti tradiční firmě. Dále uvádí možnosti jejich financování, poskytuje definice základních pojmů, popisuje důležitost inovace a motivy, které podnikatele vedou k založení start-upu. Praktická část se zabývá analýzou úspěšných start-up projektů z oblasti cestovního ruchu. Nejdříve stručně představuje předmět jejich podnikání, dále jsou v praktické části obsaženy rozhovory se zastupujícími členy těchto start-upů, na jejichž základě práce navrhuje doporučení a optimální přístup k realizaci start-up projektu v cestovním ruchu.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the tourism start-up environment in the Czech Republic. It summarizes the possibilities which the founders of start-up projects have. The theoretical part of this bachelor thesis introduces the issues of start-up projects and the differences between leading a start-up company and traditional company. Furthermore, the thesis presents possible types of start-up funding, provides definitions of basic concepts, describes the importance of innovation and the motives that lead start-up founders to set up a start-up. The practical part of this bachelor thesis is devoted to the analysis of successful start-up projects in the tourism industry. First of all, it concisely presents objects of their business then the thesis contains interviews with the representatives of these start-ups. On the basis of these interviews the bachelor thesis proposes recommendations and tries to find an optimal approach to tourism start-up project realisation in the Czech Republic.
