Determination of carbamates and phthalates in selected fruit distillates

Abstract:

Cílem této práce bylo charakterizovat vlastnosti ftalátů a karbamátů, zjistit jejich výskyt u vybraných druhů ovocných destilátů použitím analytických metod HPLC a GC-FID. V práci je popsána základní výroba destilátů, zahrnující přípravu surovin, technologické vybavení a postupy během destilace. Součástí teoretické části je i popis vlivů těchto látek na lidské zdraví a okolí. V praxi se na stanovení těchto látek často používá metoda GC-MS, přičemž cílem této práce bylo také prověření i méně často používaných metod, jakými jsou GC-FID a HPLC s kombinovanou UV/ VIS a MS detekcí.

Abstract:

The goal of the work is to define the properties of phthalates and carbamates, to analyse their abundance in the select kinds of fruit distillate while applying the HPLC and GC-FID methods. The work describes the basic distillate production, involving raw materials prepa-ration, technological equipment and the procedures during distillation. The influence of the substances on the human health and the environment forms part of the theory. It is neces-sary to add that the way of the analysis was to a certain extend pioneering since the GC-MS method is being applied at present, but the goal of this work was using less commonly methods as GC-FID and HPLC with UV/VIS and MS detection.
