Banking Products and Services for Students

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na analýzu produktů a služeb pro studenty, která je nedílnou součástí nabídky finančních institucí na území České republiky. Cílem je nejen zhodnotit úroveň nabídky na našem bankovním trhu, ale také vybrat nejvýhodnější produkty a služby pro studenty. První kapitola obsahuje teoretické vymezení jednotlivých produktů, které jsou nabízeny bankami. Práce zahrnuje charakteristiku jednotlivých běžných účtů, kontokorentů a platebních karet vybraných bank. Třetí kapitola obsahuje obsáhlou analýzu produktů pro studenty dle jednotlivých parametrů a obchodních podmínek, včetně modelových příkladů u šesti vybraných bank. Ve čtvrté kapitole následuje srovnání široké nabídky spotřebitelských úvěrů bank, které jsou na základě úrokových sazeb, poplatků či doby splatnosti hodnoceny. Poslední kapitola zachycuje výsledky analýz a doporučení bankám ohledně možných vylepšení nabídky produktů a služeb pro studenty.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is focused on the analysis of products and services for students, which is an integral part of the offer of financial institutions in the territory of the Czech Republic. The aim is not only to evaluate the level of supply on our banking market, but also to select the most advantageous products and services for students. The first chapter contains the theoretical definition of individual products offered by banks. The work includes the characterization of individual current accounts, overdrafts and payment cards of selected banks. The third chapter contains a comprehensive analysis of products according to individual parameters and business conditions. The fourth chapter is followed by a comparison of a wide range of consumer loans to banks, which are evaluated on the basis of interest rates, fees or maturities. The last chapter presents the results of analyzes and recommendations to banks about possible improvements to the range of products and services for students.
