Abstract:

Cílem mé bakalářské práce bylo zobrazit cyklus dvanácti maleb na téma Večer u nás doma po celý rok, na plátno o rozměrech 130 x 100 cm. Z malířských technik jsem zvolila pro mne tu nejbližší, olejomalbu. Inspirací, novou zkušeností a zároveň výzvou pro mne bylo zachycení dané situace v nočním prostředí ? tedy hry světla a stínu. Obrazy jsou doplněny teoretickou částí, ve které se zabývám samotmou technikou olejomalby - její historií a vývojem až po umělce, kteří s touto metodou pracovali. Nechybí ani teorie o barvách a světle, po níž následuje popis jednotlivých děl a kterou zakončuje celková reflexe o mé práci.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to depict and analyze a cycle of twelve thematic pictures under the heading ?Domestic Evenings Throughout the Year? which are my own work, painted on 130 x 100 cm canvas. Of all techniques I have chosen my favourite one, oil painting. It was the play of light and shadow, characteristic of evening settings, and the act of capturing given situations within it, which was all of the following three: inspiration, new experience and challenge for me. The pictures are accompanied by a theoretical part dealing with the very technique of oil painting - its history and development as well as with the artists who used it. Theory concerning colours and light in general is also included, followed by a description of individual paintings and concluded by an overall reflection on my work.
