This thesis clarifies the conditions under which commercial banks provide loans for small and medium size enterprises. Typically, loans from comercial banks are the only alternative of financing for these enterprises. Cieľom mojej diplomovej práce je analýza podmienok, za ktorých komerčné banky poskytujú úvery pre podnikateľov. Práve úvery od komerčných bánk sú často jedinou možnosťou financovania podnikateľských zámerov. Práca poskytuje obraz o všetkých činnostiach prebiehajúcich pri každej podanej žiadosti o úver od jej prípravnej fázy až po schválenie a čerpanie úveru. Práca je rozdelená na 3 kapitoly.
