The effectiveness of devices used in the Snoezelen for children with autism preschool

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá ověřením účinnosti pomůcek používaných ve Snoezelenu dětmi s poruchou autistického spektra předškolního věku. Práce se skládá ze čtyř kapitol. První tři kapitoly tvoří teoretickou část, zaměřují se na vysvětlení základních pojmů a charakteristiku teoretických východisek. První kapitola je věnovaná problematice poruch autistického spektra, jejich terminologii, etiologii, symptomatologii a klasifikaci. V další kapitole jsou obsažena specifika předškolního vzdělávání dětí s poruchou autistického spektra, rovněž zde je zahrnuta i speciálně pedagogická diagnostika a TEACCH program. Poslední kapitola teoretické části se věnuje problematice Snoezelenu, zde jsou vymezena teoretická východiska, jeho historie, vybavení, struktura a zásady práce v této multismyslové místnosti. Praktická část, neboli čtvrtá kapitola diplomové práce se věnuje ověření účinnosti pomůcek. Zahrnuje kazuistiku jedinců s poruchou autistického spektra předškolního věku a popis zařízení, kde byl výzkum realizován. Velká část této kapitoly je věnována samotnému výzkumnému šetření.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the verification of the effectiveness of instruments used in Snoezelen children with autistic preschool age. The work consists of four chapters. The first three chapters form the theoretical part, focus on explaining the basic concepts and characteristics of theoretical knowledge. The first chapter is devoted to the issue of autistic spectrum disorders, their terminology, etiology, symptomatology and classification. In the next chapter contained the specifics of preschool education of children with autism spectrum disorder, it is also included as well as special education diagnostics and TEACCH program. The last chapter is devoted Snoezelen, there are defined theoretical background, his history, equipment, structure and principles of work in the multisensory room. The practical part, or the fourth chapter of the thesis is devoted to verify the effectiveness of aids. It includes a case study of individuals with autism in preschool age and description of the facility where the research was conducted. Much of this chapter is devoted to the research investigation.
