Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je analýza problematiky závislosti na internetu asociálních sítích. Práce má teoreticko-empirický design. V teoretické části jsou uvedenyzákladní informace související s vývojem digitálních technologií a sociálních sítí, jejichžmasové používání doprovázejí i určitá rizika. Vedle vymezení klíčových pojmů a jejichdefinic je charakterizováno závislostní chování, jeho projevy, diagnostika, terapie aprevence. V empirické části jsou uvedeny výsledky kvantitativně pojaté výzkumné sondy,kdy byla zjišťována míra užívání internetu a sociálních sítí a projevy závislostního chováníve skupině středoškoláků, adolescentů ve věkovém rozpětí 15-18 let, studujících na středníodborné škole v Plzeňském kraji. Jako metoda výzkumu byla použita standardizovanámetoda původem z Taiwanu (Chenova škála závislostního chování), jejíž český překladbývá výzkumně často využíván.

Abstract:

The main subject of this bachelor’s thesis is addiction to internet and social media.The thesis delivers a basic theoretical analysis of the concept, definitions of addictions, therisks related to the use of social media, prevention of netolism and also options of its cure.Emphasis is given to digital games, such as nintendo, which may have sociallypathological addictional consequences.The text comprises a theoretical part and a presentation of empirical data. In the theoreticalpart, the key facts related to addiction are presented. In the introduction to the empiricalpart we describe the methodology and research sample (secondary school students fromWest Bohemia, aged between 15 and 18 years). We tried to shed more light to what extenttheir social life could be impacted by their addictive behavior regarding internet and socialmedia. Second, we will try to examine the influence of excessive use of internet and socialmedia on grades and the overall welfare which will allow us to conclude if an excessiveuse of internet and social media could be considered as a pathology and thus may pose anactual threat to the nowadays youth and their future. The empirical study took form of ananonymous questionnaire which the teens were free to fill, the so called specter of price inaddictive behaviors.
