Legal Aspects of Schengen Acquis

Abstract:

Předmětem bakalářské práce „Právní aspekty schengenského acquis“ je rozbor Schengenského systému a jeho práva (schengenské acquis) od jeho vzniku až do současnosti včetně uvedení problematických aspektů celé spolupráce v průběhu jejího vývoje. První část se zabývá vývojem Schengenského systému od jeho vzniku do jeho začlenění Amsterdamskou smlouvou pod rámec Evropské unie. Druhá část je zaměřena na období po přijetí Amsterdamské smlouvy. V poslední části pak analyzuji problémy celé spolupráce, jež se v průběhu jejího vývoje objevují a jež jsou aktuální.

Abstract:

The goal of the bachelor thesis: “Legal aspects of Schengen acquis” is an analysis of Schengen system and its acquis (schengen acquis) from its establishment until the present time including introduction of the problematic aspects of the whole cooperation throughout its development. The first part discusses the development of Schengen system from its establishment till its integration into the European Union by the Treaty of Amsterdam. The second part is focused on the period after the adoption of the Treaty of Amsterdam. In the last part gradually emerging and current problems of the whole cooperation are analyzed.
