Development of perception of teacher's authority within pupils on the first grade of chosen primary school

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se věnuje problematice autority učitele a jejího vnímání žáky 1. stupně základní školy. Cílem diplomové práce je popsat rozdíly ve vnímání autority učitele u žáků 1. stupně vybrané základní školy a vyvodit doporučení pro učitele 1. stupně základní školy pro efektivní práci s vlastní autoritou ve výchovně vzdělávacím procesu. Práce je rozdělená na část teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část pojednává o pojetí autority, jeho historickému vývoji a dále je zacílena na žáka a učitele. Praktická část je zaměřena na zjištění rozdílů ve vnímání autority učitele žáky prvního a pátého ročníku vybrané základní školy. Ve výzkumném šetření byl využit strukturovaný rozhovor a pozorování. Výsledky potvrzují rozdíly ve vnímání autority učitele žáky mladšího a středního školního věku ve vztahu k jejich obecnému psychosociálnímu vývoji.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the issue of authority and its perception by primary school pupils. The aim of the thesis is to describe the differences in the perception of teacher's authority by pupils in chosen primary school and make recommendations for primary school teachers to work effectively with their own authority in the educational process. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part deals with the concept of authority, its historical development and is aimed at relations of both parties pupils and teachers. The practical part of the thesis focuses on the differences in perception of authority by pupils in their first and fifth year at primary school. To obtain desired results, structured interview and observations were used. The results confirm differences between perception of teacher's authority by pupils of young school age and middle school age according to their general psychosocial development.
