Tato magisterská práce se věnuje literatuře pro děti a mládež, konkrétně způsobům probuzení čtenářských zájmů u žáků základních škol. V první části se věnuje teorii a historii této literatury. Dále pojednává o metodách motivace ke čtení knih u mladých lidí pomocí takových projektů jako je „Cała Polska czyta dzieciom“, „Celé Česko čte dětem” a „Z książką na walizkach“.
