3D print in Healthcare

Abstract:

Práce se zaměřuje na tvorbu dokumentárního filmu o 3D tisku ve zdravotnictví. Vzniklý film seznamuje diváka se základy 3D tisku. Divák se dozví, jaké typy 3D tisku existují, jaké materiály tyto 3D tisky využívají a na co se jednotlivé typy 3D tiskáren využívají. Dále dokument popisuje, jak probíhá 3D tisk na IKEMu. Od základů, kdy se získávají data pacientů, přes segmentování daných orgánů do 3D tiskařské podoby až k závěrečnému 3D tisku orgánů a jejich finalizací. Dokument se dále zabývá, jak daleko postoupil 3D tisk orgánů a seznamuje diváka s dosavadními výzkumy 3D tisku ve zdravotnictví

Abstract:

The thesis focuses on the creation of a documentary film about 3D printing in healthcare. The resulting film introduces the viewer to the basics of 3D printing. The viewer will learn what types of 3D printing exist, what materials these 3D printers use and what each type of 3D printer is used for. The document also describes how 3D printing takes place at IKEM. From the basics, when patient data is obtained, to the segmentation of the given organs into a 3D printed form, to the final 3D printing of the organs and their finalization. The documentary further deals with how far 3D printing of organs has progressed and lists the viewer with the current research on 3D printing in the healthcare industry.
