Utilization of differential scanning calorimetry in study of thermal behavior

Abstract:

Předložená bakalářská práce je zaměřena na studium základní kinetiky krystalizace a strukturní relaxace Griseofulvinu. Griseofulvin je farmaceutická účinná látka používaná jako antimykotikum, které se využívá na léčbu plísňové infekce. Krystalizace a strukturní relaxace Griseofulvinu byla studována pomocí techniky termické analýzy, a to její nejrozšířenější - diferenční skenovací kalorimetrií (DSC). Podstatou kinetické analýzy bylo určit hodnoty aktivačních energií krystalizace EA a hodnoty aktivačních energií strukturní relaxace h*.

Abstract:

The presented bachelor thesis is focused on the study of the basic kinetics of crystallization and structural relaxation of Griseofulvin. Griseofulvin is a pharmaceutical active substance used as an antifungal drug that is used to treat fungal infections. Crystallization and structural relaxation of Griseofulvin was studied by using the technique of thermal analysis, its the most common - differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The essence of the kinetic analysis was to determine the activation energy of crystallization EA and activation energy of structural relaxation h *.
